Delete your Streetwise account

What deletion does

Your Streetwise profile, sign-in sessions, server-side push token and installation association, notification inbox, analytics events, support cases and notes, and personal supplier profile content are removed. Supplier offers are detached from the account and stripped of their notes and client identifiers. Your account cannot be recovered after processing. Use any remaining Streetwise store balance or contact support before deleting, because the deleted account can no longer access it.

Order totals and purchased line items, legacy store-credit accounting entries, limited delivery status records and administrative audit facts are retained without the account link for six years from the transaction or action date to meet Zimbabwean accounting and tax record-keeping requirements and handle fraud or disputes. Recipient name, phone, address, delivery free text, proof links, app request identifiers and audit free text are removed. The retained records are automatically deleted after that six-year period.

For reliability, Streetwise keeps a non-identifying deletion receipt for up to 365 days. Keyed, non-reversible email and Google/Firebase identity markers are kept for seven days to prevent an interrupted deletion from automatically recreating an account; the raw email address and Google identifier are not kept in those markers. Completed request contact details and email lookup hash are erased immediately; any stale open-request lookup hash is erased within 30 days.

If you can sign in, the fastest route is Account → Privacy and account → Delete account in the app. That authenticated action removes active Streetwise data immediately. Email requests require confirmation; confirmed requests are processed within seven calendar days. Unconfirmed requests expire after seven days.

Streetwise currently keeps no application-managed database backup, so there is no separate Streetwise backup copy to age out. A hosting-provider disaster-recovery copy, if one exists, is isolated from routine use; deletion must be reapplied before restored data is returned to service. Deleting Streetwise data does not itself delete a Firebase Installation ID stored by Google's SDK on your device. Streetwise removes its server association and push token; clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app controls the device copy.
